South Mount Juliet Road Widening from Providence Way to South of Central Pike

Project ID: 12488500
Construction Year: 2029
State: TN Counties: Wilson

Entity: Tennessee Department of Transportation

The South Mt. Juliet Road (SR-171) project will transform the existing two-lane roadway into a four-lane divided thoroughfare to improve capacity and safety. This improvement and realignment effort will feature two 11-foot travel lanes in each direction, separated by a 30-foot median. The new design, which will take place along both sides of the route within a 113-foot Right-of-Way, also prioritizes multimodal access by incorporating two 5-foot bicycle lanes, curb and gutter for improved drainage, and two 6-foot sidewalks.

Work for this project will include the acquisition of new right of way and a variety of easements imposed on adjacent landowners through the eminent domain process.

Should you be impacted by this project, we can help. If you are a landowner in the footprint of this project and would like assistance with this process or would like more information regarding your rights relative to eminent domain, condemnation, or easements, please contact us today.
