NCDOT Project U-6248 is a proposed improvement project aimed at increasing safety at the intersection of NC 75 (E. South Main Street) and SR 1111 (Old Providence Road) near downtown Waxhaw, North Carolina. The main feature of the project is the construction of a roundabout at this intersection. Additionally, the plan includes resurfacing NC 75 from north of Salem Street to south of Old Providence Road.

Work for this project will include the acquisition of new right of way and a variety of easements imposed on adjacent landowners through the eminent domain process.
