SR66 at SR34 in Bulls Gap

Project ID: TN0002
Construction Year: 2030
State: TN Counties: Hawkins

Entity: Tennessee Department of Transportation

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), in partnership with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is proposing to widen and realign State Route (SR) 66. The project will span from SR-34 (US-11E, Andrew Johnson Highway) in Bulls Gap to a point near Speedwell Road/Old Highway 66 in Hawkins County, Tennessee.

As the initiative is using federal funds, it must comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). In line with these requirements, TDOT and the FHWA have prepared an Environmental Assessment to thoroughly evaluate the project's potential environmental impacts and to develop strategies to mitigate any harm.

Work for this project will include the acquisition of new right of way and a variety of easements imposed on adjacent landowners through the eminent domain process.

Should you be impacted by this project, we can help. If you are a landowner in the footprint of this project and would like assistance with this process or would like more information regarding your rights relative to eminent domain, condemnation, or easements, please contact us today.
