A project to replace the bridge on County Road 9 (Akins Pond Road) over Mill Creek in Bulloch County, Georgia, is underway. The new bridge will be built on the current alignment. All traffic will be routed to an offsite detour during construction, which is expected to last approximately 12 months.
Work for this project will include the acquisition of new right of way and a variety of easements imposed on adjacent landowners through the eminent domain process.
