Improvements to Cass-White Road from Busch Drive to Great Valley Parkway - Phase II

Project ID: 0015145
Construction Year: 2029
State: GA Counties: Bartow

Entity: Georgia Department of Transportation

Located just east of Interstate 75 at exit 296, a project is underway to widen a 1.6-mile section of Cass-White Road, approximately 7.3 miles north of downtown Cartersville.

This project will transform the current two-lane road into a four-lane divided highway with a raised concrete median. For improved safety and accessibility, new bike lanes and sidewalks will be added to both sides of the road. Additionally, the intersection at Great Valley Parkway will be converted into a single-lane roundabout to improve traffic flow.

Work for this project will include the acquisition of new right of way and a variety of easements imposed on adjacent landowners through the eminent domain process.

Should you be impacted by this project, we can help. If you are a landowner in the footprint of this project and would like assistance with this process or would like more information regarding your rights relative to eminent domain, condemnation, or easements, please contact us today.
