The project will replace the current 322-foot-long bridge on Town Creek Rd., Cleveland, GA. Built in 1959, the bridge is part of a road with two 10-foot lanes and 8-foot shoulders. The new construction will involve shifting the road's alignment to the north, starting 1,200 feet west of Gold Nugget Lane and ending 100 feet east of Patsy Drive. The new road section will feature two 12-foot lanes and wider 10-foot shoulders, with 4 feet of each shoulder paved.
Work for this project will include the acquisition of new right of way and a variety of easements imposed on adjacent landowners through the eminent domain process.
